Get to know Lisa Armstrong

Serving as Head of Fashion at The Telegraph, Lisa Armstrong is one of the most respected voices in fashion journalism. With a career that began at Vogue, Lisa has spent decades shaping the industry’s conversation. Beyond her editorial work, Lisa is a published author, having written four novels, and has been recognised for her contributions to fashion with an honorary doctorate from the University of the Arts London.

In 2022, she was awarded an OBE for her services to the industry. Now, Lisa is bringing her expertise to Jigsaw with an exclusive collection. A celebration of timeless style, the collection is designed to transition effortlessly through spring and beyond.

As a longtime admirer of Jigsaw, Lisa’s relationship with the brand is rooted in a shared appreciation for considered design, pieces that feel effortlessly elegant and remain relevant season after season. “One of the things that I like about Jigsaw is that the pieces don’t really date. I really tried to put together a spring summer wardrobe where many of the pieces would all work with each other.”

I’ve been all over the world for my job. You know, I’ve interviewed David Beckham, writers, actors, scientists. It’s amazing. Fashion… people want to see it. They want some entertainment and distraction. In a way, it’s a superpower. It’s just the best career.”
